Welcome to MealsDeals! By downloading, accessing, or using the MealsDeals mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms form a legal agreement between you (“User” or “you”) and MealsDeals. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue using the App. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time, and such changes will be effective upon posting within the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
About MealsDeals: MealsDeals is a food promotions aggregator and finder that displays publicly available meal promotions and deals from various restaurants and food delivery platforms. We are an independent service, not affiliated with any food delivery platforms, and our role is limited to aggregating and presenting promotional information for your convenience. All promotions are manually added by our team in real time based on publicly available data.
Eligibility and Age Restrictions: To use the App, you must:
- Be at least 13 years of age. Users under 13 are prohibited from using the App, as required by Apple App Store and Google Play Store guidelines to ensure compliance with child privacy laws such as the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
- Not be a convicted sex offender or otherwise restricted from using similar services under applicable laws.
- Reside in a region where the App is available and comply with all local laws.
Age Limit Requirement: Setting an age limit is mandatory for both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Apple requires an age rating to be set in App Store Connect, which determines the appropriate audience for your App (e.g., 4+, 9+, 12+, or 17+) based on its content. Google Play similarly requires you to declare a target age group in the Play Console, especially if your App may appeal to children, to comply with their Families Policy Requirements. Since MealsDeals collects user names and phone numbers for marketing purposes, we have set a minimum age of 13 to align with COPPA and app store standards, ensuring the App is not targeted at children under 13, which could trigger additional parental consent requirements.
Data Collection for Marketing Purposes: MealsDeals collects your name and phone number solely for marketing purposes, such as sending you personalized promotions, updates, or offers related to food deals. We do not share, sell, or disclose this data to any third parties for any purpose. You may opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time by adjusting your preferences in the App or contacting us directly. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your data is used responsibly in accordance with applicable laws.
License to Use the App: MealsDeals grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the usage rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions (for iOS users) or Google Play Terms of Service (for Android users). This license does not allow you to:
- Modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
- Use the App for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
- Distribute, sublicense, or transfer the App to third parties.
User Responsibilities:
- Accurate Information: You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information when using the App, such as during account registration, and to update this information as necessary.
- Compliance with Laws: You are responsible for ensuring your use of the App complies with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws.
- App Usage: You agree to use the App solely for its intended purpose of discovering food promotions and not for any competitive or harmful activities.
Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to engage in any of the following activities while using the App:
- Use the App to collect personal information from other users without their consent.
- Attempt to interfere with, hack, or disrupt the App’s functionality or servers.
- Use the App to promote or engage in illegal activities, including but not limited to fraud, harassment, or infringement of intellectual property rights.
- Reproduce, sell, resell, or trade any promotional content accessed through the App.
- Engage in any activity that may harm MealsDeals, its users, or its partners, as determined by MealsDeals in its sole discretion.
Promotions and Third-Party Services: MealsDeals aggregates and displays publicly available promotions from restaurants and food delivery platforms. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or validity of any promotion, as they are subject to change by the respective third parties without notice. MealsDeals is not responsible for:
- The fulfillment, quality, or delivery of any promotion or order placed through a third-party platform.
- Any disputes, errors, or issues arising from transactions between you and third-party platforms or restaurants.
- Any downtime, incorrect information, or harm caused by reliance on the promotional content displayed in the App.
You acknowledge that all transactions and interactions occur directly between you and the third-party platform or restaurant, and you agree to resolve any disputes directly with them.
Intellectual Property: All content within the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of MealsDeals or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use any content from the App without prior written consent from MealsDeals, except as permitted under these Terms for personal use.
Termination: MealsDeals reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms.
- Engaging in prohibited conduct.
- Inactivity or suspected fraudulent activity.
Upon termination, your license to use the App will immediately cease, and you must uninstall the App from your device.
Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, MealsDeals, its affiliates, and its partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use the App.
- The accuracy, availability, or fulfillment of any promotions displayed in the App.
- Any actions or omissions by third-party platforms, restaurants, or other users.
MealsDeals does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. You use the App at your own risk.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MealsDeals, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:
- Your use of the App.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Any infringement of intellectual property rights or other rights of any third party.
Third-Party App Store Policies: The App is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and your use of the App is also subject to the terms and policies of these platforms:
- For iOS users, the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions apply, and MealsDeals acknowledges that Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App or its content.
- For Android users, the Google Play Terms of Service apply, and you are granted a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license to use the App on your device, as required by the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement.
MealsDeals is solely responsible for providing any maintenance or support for the App, and Apple and Google have no obligation to provide such services. Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you as applicable.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Doha, Qatar, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts. However, if you are a consumer in a jurisdiction with higher consumer protection standards (e.g., the European Union), those standards may prevail.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be replaced by a valid one that achieves the original intent as closely as possible.
